Return and Exchange Policy


Customer satisfaction is The Faerie Shop's top priority and we hope you will be completely happy with your purchases.

  1. Goods not Ordered

    If you wish to return a product because you have been sent something that you did not order, please contact The Faerie Shop within 7 days of delivery receipt by telephone 03 62248731 Australia or +61 3 62248731 International, or alternatively email us. In this case we will pay the return shipping cost up to the price of the original shipping method.

  2. Other Returns/Exchanges

    If you are unsatisfied for any reason with your purchase, please contact The Faerie Shop within 30 days by telephone 03 62248731 Australia or +61 3 62248731 International, or alternatively contact us by email, to return or exchange any item. Only goods that are new, in their original packaging with all tags intact, and unused will be accepted for refund or exchange. We cannot accept clothing returns with smoke or odour damage.

    Once the return or exchange has been approved, you will be provided with a Return/Exchange authorisation number. Please record this number on a copy of your delivery packing slip or order receipt and send this form together with all items returned to the following address.

    The Faerie Shop is unable to refund postage costs for returns unless we have made a mistake and sent the wrong product or the product is unusable due to a defect. Exchanges that are not the result of a defect or a mistake where The Faerie Shop has sent you the wrong product will require additional postage and handling charges. Additional charges are $10 for Australian Customers and $12.50 for New Zealand. International customers will be contacted separately to arrange additional return postage costs.

    Returns should be sent through an insured/traceable carrier of your choice. The Faerie Shop is not responsible for packages sent to us that are lost or damaged.

A Terrarium - a faerie garden

Would you like to make a garden for the Faeries to play in while its cold and snowy outside? We know that the winter Faeries love being out in the cold but some faeries, like Faerie Sweetpea like to have somewhere nice and warm to sleep. To make a terrarium you will need a big glass jar or bowl; some soil (with a sprinkle of faerie dust); some precious stones or some moss or grass seed; some gems (the help to keep it warm); and something soft to make into a faerie bed.

  • Place the gems at the bottom of the jar. Then for the next layer sprinkle some soil along with the Faerie dust, enough to give the moss or grass something to grow in. If you are using grass seed you can sprinkle it on and then another thin layer of soil. If you have some moss you can gently put it enough in to cover the soil. You should now have some beautiful sparkly layers to your Faerie garden.
  • You can make a bed for the faeries to sleep in out of something lovely and soft like some wool or feathers. A nice spot for your terrarium would be near a window so the Faeries can see it easily! Please don't put a lid on the jar otherwise the faeries might not be able to get inside!! We hope you have lots of visitors to your indoor Faerie garden.
