Starbright is a star faerie who is special friends with all the night-time tooth faeries. She likes to fly away to warm places during the winter, but we're very glad to have her home again over summer!

Faerie Moonbeam

Faerie Moonbeam is a very special faerie. She was born with The Faerie Shop and still lives high up in a secret and magical attic in the building where The Faerie Shop is located. Not only does she provide guidance to all the faeries and magical creatures who come to The Faerie Shop, her role is to help spread faerie magic and love throughout the human world.

With the coming of winter, Moonbeam has to work very, very hard. She leaves her little room as the first moonbeams begin to shine, flies to all the flowers and trees and touches them with her precious wand, so that the new buds will open up into beautiful flowers for spring.

Moonbeam says that she lives in the best faerie shop in the whole wide world and she loves it when people come to visit. Of course, it is hard for people to see her, as she is very much like a moonbeam, and just a little bit bigger than a glow of light (which often gives her away)! Sometimes people (mainly children) see her and want to take her home with them, but she very quickly flies away. (Faerie lore says that one should never try to capture a faerie!)

Moonbeam hopes you love The Faerie Shop as much as she does. She proudly tell all her friends that is is full of the loveliest things, chimes, faerie dresses, faerie shoes like hers, and wings, magical wands and tiaras ~ and so many other wonderful things!

Moonbeam loves receiving letters from children and displaying them on the wall in The Faerie Shop for all to see. She also loves it when she hears happy children in The Faerie Shop calling out loudly, 'We believe in faeries'.
